The Children’s Center offers Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy at our location in Augusta.
Licensed Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants provide children with positive, fun activities to help them develop in the areas of self-help, fine and gross motor skills, oral motor, and play. Children ages 18 months to 13 years old receive services in an individual or group setting depending on the specific needs of the child throughout the day.
Licensed Speech and Language Therapists and Certified Speech Therapy Assistants help children develop their speech, language, and communication skills as well as oral motor skills, which are necessary for eating, drinking, and swallowing. They focus on improving expressive and receptive communication in order for these children to be prepared and successful in other programs, services, and settings.
