Offering Education and Support for Parenting a Child with Special Needs

Parents and caregivers are the primary influence in the development of young children. Therefore, our goal is to help parents and caregivers understand specific diagnoses and what that means for their child so that they focus on learning new skills to manage life with a child who needs extra support.

Expert speakers and facilitators offer their knowledge, experience, and recommendations to parents and caregivers of young children with special needs. They offer specific strategies and techniques for parents and caregivers when facing challenges with the unique needs of their child, which provide them with confidence in their own parenting and caregiving abilities. Knowledgeable and confident parents create healthy, safe environments for children.

Education and support groups vary regarding topics, dates, and locations depending on availability and funding sources.
